Only in Hollywood, right?Jessica Alba's fit figure isn't the result of Tinseltown lighting tricks or special effects make-up. It's the result of hard work, discipline, and maybe a few hunger pangs. The actress recently told Lucky Magazine she'd be sticking to a strict regimen to shed those post-baby pounds, which includes at least 45 minutes of cardio exercise every day."I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered. | Aishwarya Rai back to signing fee for Heroine Posted: 28 Aug 2011 03:41 PM PDT Filmaker Madhur Bhandarkar and other co-producers of the movie Heroine had earlier accused Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for hiding her pregnancy before signing the film. Though Aishwarya never spoke about it to the media, the actress, however, decided to return the signing amount to UTV. Neither UTV nor Madhur asked Aishwarya to return the money, as she did a photo shoot and also shot for eight days for the movie. A source said: " Aishwarya was not willing to keep the money. Initially she had thought she would re- start the project once the baby arrives. But things went in an entirely different direction when Madhur accused her of hiding her pregnancy". "Now she doesn't want to be associated with the film in any way especially after the negative publicity, the source added. Amitabh Bachchan, had earlier mentioned in an interview that the matter had been sorted out between Aishwarya and UTV pictures. Meanwhile, Madhur has gone ahead with his ambitious project, roping in Kareena Kapoor to play the lead role. Kareena, who had earlier demanded a remuneration of Rs8 crore for the film will now have a share in the profits which is of course a big news in itself. The Associated Press reported earlier this month that Patrick was finalizing a deal to drive fulltime for JR Motorsports in the second-tier Nationwide Series. She was also working on a limited schedule of elite Sprint Cup Series races for Stewart-Haas Racing. Patrick and GoDaddy.com chairman Bob Parsons will be at Thursday's announcement at company headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz. An advisory said Patrick will announce her 2012 plans while "putting the rumours to rest with the 'real story in her own words."' She has refused each week to discuss her plans as speculation has mounted she's leaving the IndyCar Series. Patrick has driven 20 Nationwide races for JR Motorsports over the last two seasons and has five more scheduled this year. She finished third in the 2009 Indy 500, the highest finish for a woman in open-wheel's most prestigious race. She has one career victory in IndyCar and currently is ranked 12th in the series standings. In 110 career starts, she has three poles and 20 top-5s. Although she's winless in the Nationwide series, she flirted with victory last month at Daytona, leading 13 laps before the last-lap chaos dropped her to a 10th-place finish. "She's way ahead of the curve," Dale Earnhardt Jr., one of the owners of JR Motorsports, has said. "We've had the opportunity to put several drivers in that car, and her performance is right on par with all those drivers. We started out struggling and she had a steep, steep climb to go and she's really come a long way. I'm excited about what the potential is with her going forward." |
