Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy tricky for Sonakshi Sinha and Asin

Posted: 25 Aug 2011 11:38 AM PDT

Abrupt as it may seem, it’s true. It is not only director Madhur Bhandarkar who has landed into problems following the news of Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy. Newbies like Sonakshi Sinha and Asin Thottumkal have also landed in problems because of the imminent visit from the stork to Bachchan household.

Aishwarya Rai's pregnancy tricky for Sonakshi Sinha and Asin

Asin is working with Aishwarya’s husband Abhishek Bachchan in Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd’s ‘Bol Bachchan’.  The film also stars Ajay Devgan and Prachi Desai and is being directed by Rohit Shetty. Whereas earlier the film was to start shooting in August this year and wrap up by October, now a new deadline has been set up as Abhishek will need some time to spend with his newborn baby. This will ultimately lead to problems for Asin who will have to rework her schedule in order to accommodate Abhishek.

On the other hand, Sonakshi will be facing a similar problem, though by extension. Apparently, Sonakshi had to opt out of Kamal Hassan’s high profile project ‘Vishwaroopam’ as she had agreed to be a part of an action comedy with Ajay Devgan. The film was to be directed by Ashwani Dhir and was to start shooting by November this year. However, now, as Ajay will be busy with Bol Bachchan for a longer period of time, his film with Sonakshi has been postponed as well…..hhhmm…..kare koi bhare koi!!

Cameron Diaz makes a big appearance child knock

Posted: 25 Aug 2011 11:37 AM PDT

Attention, Alex Rodriguez. Here's what to expect if Cameron Diaz ever gets a bun in the oven. The actress got the cameras flashing when she stepped out on the Atlanta set of her latest comedy, What to Expect When You're Expecting (inspired by the bestselling pregnancy guide), sporting a fake baby bump.

Giving women everywhere a decent reason to hate her, or at least hate this movie, Diaz appears to be pretty far along, pregnancy-wise, while also still rocking a golden tan, super fit legs and perfect arms. Funny, we heard that's not what to expect when you're expecting. There is a method to this buff madness, however:

Diaz, 38, plays a Jillian Michaels-type host of a fitness show. Her costars include Elizabeth Banks, Anna Kendrick and Brooklyn Decker, all of whom will probably look just as good with a little extra strapped to their bellies.

Dakota Fanning headed to NYU This Fall, now embracing ponder cohort solicits

On the first day of classes, it's always nice to see a familiar face — even if you're only familiar with it from those Twilight movies your mom's always spazzing about.

Dakota Fanning headed to NYU This Fall, now embracing ponder cohort solicits

Dakota Fanning is enrolled at NYU for this fall, the university's news blog NYULocal confirmed. (That said, the 17-year-old has suggested as much for ages; reports she'd be headed to the school re-surfaced at the time of her high school graduation this past June, and as NYULocal notes, she'd been spotted touring the school's Gallatin college as early as spring 2010.)

More recently, Fanning has been filming the upcoming drama Now is Good in England, though if you really can't wait until September to ask her to join your study group, she's listed in the NYU Gmail directory. That's how NYULocal confirmed her freshman status, by the way — in case she needed a better reminder to change her privacy settings, already. First year is packed with more than enough reading, without having to sift through a deluge of deranged fanmail, thanks.

Patrick's shift from IndyCar to the NASCAR Nationwide series in 2012 has been widely reported over the last several weeks, but her Sprint Cup debut has so far remained unknown. She will drive probably eight to 10 Cup races next year for Stewart-Haas Racing, in addition to her Saturday Nationwide duties.

– Kevin Harvick extended his winning streak in the NASCAR Trucks Series at Bristol, Tenn., and Sprint Cup rival Kyle Busch's five-race win streak at Bristol Motor Speedway came to a crashing halt. Harvick raced to his third straight Trucks victory, leading the final 103 laps en route to his 12th career Trucks win. Busch finished 30th after making contact with pole-sitter Elliott Sadler midway through the race.

ELSEWHERE: Cy Young winner Flanagan dies: Mike Flanagan, the 1979 AL Cy Young Award winner and member of the Baltimore Orioles' 1983 World Series championship team, has died. He was 59.

Authorities found a body outside Flanagan's home in Monkton, Md. Hours later, the Orioles confirmed that Flanagan – who served the team as a pitcher, front office executive and TV broadcaster – is dead.

"I am so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. He was a good friend and teammate," Hall of Fame third baseman Cal Ripken Jr. said. "Mike was an Oriole through and through, and he will be sorely missed by family, friends and fans. This is a sad day."

College basketball: The NCAA announced a three-year show-cause penalty on former Tennessee men's head coach Bruce Pearl. The ruling means that before Pearl can be hired, a school must tell the NCAA why it wants him and be prepared to face penalties for giving him a job.

* Nationality: Dutch   * Age: 27   * Height: 5'10?
* Measurements (according to FMD): (US) 34-24-35 / (EU) 86.5-61-89

Preious (quite sad) quotes from Lara:

Well, I'm a bit better now, but I was pretty self-conscious about it a few months ago because everybody kept going on like, "Oh, she's so curvy!" and "She's a plus-size model!" and this and that. It's all people would talk about-how I'm not very skinny. For a while, it made me pretty upset and I got a bit obsessive about it. I did a bunch of dieting and exercising and everything. I was losing weight, but I was still much bigger than everybody else.
People still tell me I'm fat, but when I look in the mirror, that's not what I see. It's depressing when the clothes don't fit and you are always the odd one out…
