Kat Von D again on with Jesse James, done with ‘L.A. Ink’

Kat Von D might have broken up with "L.A. Ink," but she and Jesse James are definitely together, engagement ring and all. News of the couple's late-July breakup came only two days before the fourth season of her just-nixed series premiered, while Von D was doing promotion complete with "L.A. Ink" footage that showed her surprising her fiance with a new tattoo of his face rendered on her abdomen.

James confirmed the reunion to People, saying Thursday, "Sometimes you are only given one chance in life. It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance." A photo of the couple embracing is up online — as well as speculation that they had never broken up in the first place.

"The distance between us was just too much," James had said in July, explaining their breakup from his point of view. After his divorce from Sandra Bullock, the West Coast Choppers owner had moved from Sunset Beach to Austin, Texas. Von D operates out of L.A., where she owns High Voltage Tattoo.

The decision to end "L.A. Ink" after this season was made either by the network or at star Kat Von D's request, depending on who you believe. The TLC show, a spinoff of the network's "Miami Ink," followed her from Miami to L.A.

"In an effort to capitalize on my recent breakup," the tattoo artist told People, "the network has decided to focus their energy on re-editing events that didn't happen during filming. … In my opinion, any attempt to compromise the honesty of that would be an insult to my fans and my viewers."Does this mean we shouldn't hold our breath for "Austin Ink"?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly rented out a 16th century Scottish estate for their family. The couple – who have kids, Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – are believed to have taken up residence in historic Carnell Estate in Ayrshire, Scotland, while the actor films his latest movie 'World War Z' in Glasgow. The brunette beauty has been spotted playing with her children in the 10-acre grounds of the stately home, which sleeps up to 18 guests.

Earlier this week, Brad took Maddox and Pax fishing in a nearby lake – and Shiloh joined in with the male bonding session dressed in a traditional Scottish kilt. An onlooker told Us Weekly: "Brad looked very proud of the boys, despite the fact that no one managed to catch anything. "I don't think Brad particularly cared about getting a bite. It was just nice to spend time with the boys after a long day at work."

The family arrived in Scotland on Tuesday (16.08.11) after they chartered an entire train to take them on the five-hour journey from London to Glasgow. A spokeswoman for Virgin Trains confirmed: "As far as I am aware, Brad and Angelina hired the whole train. "It is a bespoke service so prices would vary on the individual, people have different needs from station requirements to catering."

Working on a hit television show is most actors' dream, and the cast of "Vampire Diaries" has a blast at work, according to the newly-released season two blooper reel.

In the clip, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley all make big-time blunders that end up on the cutting room floor.

Whether it's flubbing a line, falling on the set, or (in Ian's case) using his own name rather than that of his character, the CW stars never take themselves too seriously.

The "Vampire Diaries" season two DVD hits stores August 30th, and the new season begins Thursday, September 15th.
