The singer wore a very short hip-hugging black dress — that showed a whole lot of leg! She paired the daring ensemble with a pair of girly open-toed polka dot pumps. She was all smiles for the paparazzi and seemed ready to take on the evening. Tonight, she’ll be performing — but she’s stayed very mum about what single she’ll be singing. Guess we’ll have to wait in anticipation. |
| Demi Lovato offers her considerations on why being sober is cool Posted: 07 Aug 2011 10:53 PM PDT Demi Lovato has an important message for all her young fans and she recently shared it with Seventeen readers: sober is sexy. In her blog post, Demi went on to discuss about why she chooses to abstain from alcohol and other illegal substances. She also talks about addictions and how recovery can take a lifetime and she used her battle with an eating disorder as an example. She also managed to plug in that her friend has a clothing line that was named Sober Is Sexy and that the company donates 5% off each purchase to a substance abuse charity. I admire Demi’s efforts on educating people about addictions and health disorders. She’s obviously been through a lot and she wants to warn others about the dangers that can negatively impact someone’s life. |
| Emma Watson, Johnny Simmons kissing together Posted: 07 Aug 2011 10:53 PM PDT Watson, 21, and Simmons, 24, filmed “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” a relationship movie about love and finding your place in the world. Emma plays Sam Patrick who introduces high-school freshman Charlie (Logan Lerman) to the worlds of drugs and sex. Simmons has a minor role in the ensemble movie, playing Brad. In June, Watson and Simmons were spotted at a park in Pennsylvania, but her spokesperson strongly disputed reports of a romance, calling them a “complete fiction.”Watson and Simmons were spotted again at a restaurant in California earlier this week and were photographed kissing and hugging. Britain’s tabloids were quick to fan the flames of a relationship. “They were all over each other, kissing and hugging. It was very sweet to see. She looked utterly besotted… They’re obviously head-over-heels in love,” a source reportedly told London’s Daily Mail. ‘The moment Johnny turned up Emma was all over him. He stayed overnight at least one night this week. It is clearly a serious relationship,” the source said. A number of people spent the night, not just Simmons. Emma has lamented publicly how hard it is to find a boyfriend and feels isolated by a “fame wall.”So, she may be going out of her way to spark a relationship, and locationships on movie sets are not uncommon. But a closer examination of the photos suggests that Watson and Simmons are more likely very good friends. Watson’s lips are pursed and held tightly together, like she’s kissing her cousin. Actually, it looks like a movie kiss. His kiss looks about the same. Their lips aren’t even really meeting. | Antonio Banderas & Eva Longoria join Charitable Starlite Night Posted: 07 Aug 2011 10:20 PM PDT Ready for a long night of fundraising, Eva Longoria joined co-host Antonio Banderas (and his wife Melanie Griffith) at the 2011 Starlite Charity Gala in Marbella, Spain. Kicking things off with cocktails and dinner at Hotel Villa Padierna, the festivities are set to run well into the morning hours with an afterparty capping things off with a 1AM start time at Purobeach Marbella. As for the cause, the Starlite Gala is "an international platform which benefits several foundations by raising funds for different causes: education, primary needs, cancer, etc. with the aim bringing a better quality life to children, families and communities with no resources."Tweeting about the charitable plans, Miss Longoria wrote earlier in the day, "In Marbella, Spain getting ready for the Starlite Gala with Antonio Banderas to raise money for children all over the world!" With collected cash being shuffled to numerous organizations, one of the beneficiaries is Eva Longoria’s Foundation (USA)- which "focuses its efforts on children and the Latin community (immigration problems, social integration, health, education…), supporting the Foundations Parents Against Cancer (children with cáncer and their families) and Eva’s Heroes (teens and young adults with intelectual special needs)." |

But neither party really looked like she wanted any privacy; more likely, they knew exactly what they were doing, which was reminding producers that they still keep it tight at 38. However, when a celebrity doesn't want to be shot on vacation, they have some pretty big resources at their disposal. And I mean big, like, say, the cops, or the military. When Brangelina were vacationing in Namibia, waiting for Shiloh to be born, they collared local authorities for help. At the time, local paper The Namibian characterized the arrangement like this: According to the Regional Chief of Police, Deputy Commissioner Andrew Iyambo, the Police were contacted by Jolie's staff a month ago about the safety and security of the couple during their stay in Namibia. "Security is very tight," a spokeswoman explains. "You must give your destination at the gate. Someone from a watch tower gives you up to 15 minutes to arrive at your home or hotel. If you stray and don't arrived in that time frame, security meets you to escort you to your destination or out of the community." Lastly, those pesky boat paps with their long lenses. In those cases, don't be surprised if hotel security extends its duties beyond the beach. "The ocean is not patrolled" by security at Punta Mita, the resort spokeswoman explains, "but it can be arranged to disturb paparazzi on boats if necessary." |

Emma Watson and fellow actor Johnny Simmons touched off torrent of speculation about a romance after they were spotted kissing and hugging. But there may be less to their relationshikp than meets the eye.
Celebrities don't have to pull a Middleton and flee to the Seychelles to dodge paparazzi. I head over the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills all the time, and paps don't shoot there, largely because of the way the place is laid out. But if you're looking for dish on some of the tricks celebrities use to stay pap free, I've got 'em:
