Amy Winehouse's Dad Turns Singer's $4 Million London Home Into a Foundation
After the tragic and sudden loss of their talented and troubled daughter, Amy Winehouse -- the late singer's parents are planning turning her $4 million North London home into the headquarters for the Amy Winehouse Foundation charity.
The ten-room mansion will potentially be used for rehab projects and is expected to include "causes close to the singer's heart," the singer's father, Mitch Winehouse, told the Sun.
"It could include help for children in trouble, kids suffering health problems, children's hospices and more. We want to make a positive difference," Winehouse adds.
The Rehab singer was found dead at her London home on July 23, after a very long and public struggle with substance abuse.
Amy's cause of death is still unknown, and toxicology report results won't be expected for several more weeks, but Winehouse's family confessed recently that they believe Winehouse died of alcohol withdrawal.
